Not Himself But The Lord

Today's Word of Blessing:
And the LORD said: "I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. - Exodus: 3:7.8
To Quicken Your Spirit:
The Lord said this to Moses, who was tending his sheep in the desert.
He left his sheep in a corner and came to the Lord's Mountain alone. He lost all the skills he had acquired. Since he wandered with his sheep for forty years and having lost his skills as a versatile person, he was all by himself. Unaware, that it was the mountain of the Lord, he came to that place all alone. At that place God spoke to Moses about his calling.
The Lord called Moses and said all these. Moses, I have heard the sufferings of my people in the land of Egypt. They are being oppressed and I know that I need to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians. I am going to give them the land of Canaan flowing with milk and honey. Therefore you come, I will send you to Pharoh and make him let my people go. You must tell this to the Pharoh.
Though, he heard it, he made many lame excuses. He thought will all of this happen? I left Egypt already for once. I have murdered a man and run away. I am hiding here in the wilderness for 40 years. I know well of the Pharoh. I have lived in the palace for 40 years. He is a hard man. If he sees me, he will kill me. Will he free the people? Will this all be possible? He thought all of this to himself. He makes many silly excuses. Thus Moses sees his own strength and not Who is the one who is calling Him or the one who is giving him this ministry?
Without knowing this, he sees his own weakness i.e I cannot do this and it's impossible for me. He sees himself and not God.
So, as children of God we need to examine, often what is the reason for our failure? It is that we see these weaknesses in us. If we see these weaknesses we can never rise. If we see our family situation we can never have faith. If we see ourselves, we can never succeed. Instead amidst all these we must see God. Then, God can.
GOD BLESS YOU!!!
