FIRST ON THE LIST! 

Thursday 31st December 2020

TODAY'S WORD OF BLESSING!  
 
I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel. —Psalm 16:7
 
 A BRIEF CONVICTION TO QUICKEN YOUR SPIRIT! 

Let each of us avoid being one-sided in our praying, We need to keep two kinds of prayer lists: the needs list in which we bring our problems to the Lord, and the giving list in which we offer our praise to the Lord. 
 
The Psalm taken for reference today has items for which we can praise God under all circumstances: His protection, His goodness, His care, His counsel. Throughout this year God has offered these things in our lives.Therefore when you go down this day on your knees for prayer remember, as in all of life, we need a giving list. And first on the list is praise to God.
