Whom He called, these He also justified. —Romans 8:30
A Christian Woman was watching a TV program with her little daughter when suddenly an announcement about the death of a well known person came. The little girl's immediate question to her mom was “Is he going to heaven?” In reply when her mom explained that he would go to heaven, if he had accepted Jesus to be his Savior, the girl immediately started asking the same question about every member who belonged to the family she could think of.

The little girl's immediate question to her mom was “Is he going to heaven?” In reply when her mom explained that he would go to heaven, if he had accepted Jesus to be his Savior, the girl immediately started asking the same question about every member who belonged to the family she could think of.
After pausing for a moment the girl also told her mom,I talked to Jesus over the phone the other day, and I asked Him to come into my heart. The mother said, “That’s great!” and asked her how did you know His number? Her reply was simple, yet intense. “He called me!” she declared.
The girl did not know it, but her answer revealed a deep truth that differentiates Christianity from all other religions in the world. They require man to try to get to God, but in the plan God devised for man He’s the One who initiates the contact. He calls us to repentance through the Holy Spirit. Everyone who has accepted Jesus as Savior was prompted, or “called,” by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:30).
What an honor to get a personal call from God! And what blessing He gives to those who gives their consent. Have you heard His call to you?
If God is calling you today to trust in Jesus His Son, respond to Him in simple faith.
