I (Jesus Christ) have come that they may have life, and they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.(Hebrews 9:28)

A Deepening Desire

At this time when everyone sees the incidents taking place around the world and the cosmos and are surrounded by spiritual darkness, there is in the hearts of everyone a deepening desire to know more of God. Many of you might say something inside me longs to know more about my creator, so how this hunger can be satisfied?

With God's help I intend to take you through a collection of Posts on this Blog on Triune God at one place to help you to have a knowledge of the True God and the truth surrounding the concept of God with a Birds eye view some of the major incidents recorded in the Bible that are important for any person to know concerning the Beginning of the world, of fall, of Mankind, of entrance of sin, of the flood, of the Patriarchs, of the deliverer,of deliverance of Gods chosen people from bondage,of Gods covenant to dwell with his chosen people,of their worship pattern,of rejection of gods rule,of Breaking of Gods covenant by his people, of Gods plan,of Gods incarnation in flesh and his means of bringing salvation to the ends of the earth to all sections of humanity.

To know God is the greatest goal a man or woman can have. If sin had not entered the world, men and woman would have devoted themselves to the knowledge of God for ever.

"It is because of lack of knowledge says the scripture, that God's people are destroyed" (Hosea 4:6)

How can we come to know God more fully? We can know God only through the means by which he chooses to reveal Himself, which are the material creation, the scriptures, and through His son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is a verse in the Bible which says the following:

"Bretheren, My hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved."
( Romans 10:1)

The above words are spoken by saul who later was named Paul who took pride in his rituals, relationships, respectability, race, religion, and reputation. He had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ on his Way to Damascus (when he went to Persecute the Followers of Christ). His spiritual eyes were opened to the truth and He discovered it (His pride) was all bankrupt and he was lost. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as His Savior and later went on to preach the Gospels to the Gentiles ( People Other than Jews) and wrote 14 New Testament Books inspired by the Spirit of God.

Likewise, myself being a Tamil Brahmin (Iyengar) by birth, had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ on April the 26th, 1996, when my spiritual eyes were opened to the vision that God gave. On that day, when God revealed the power and authority in the name of Jesus, I surrendered my life to the election of God and fell prostrate at His feet and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Lord And Savior.

There can be none who would not have studied or known of King Solomon and His wisdom. King Solomon was blessed with tremendous wisdom of God and had the knowledge of the True God like His father King David. He was ordained to the throne of Judah following His father by God. But later he backslided and went away from God. He tried to search for meaning and finally concluded the following.

"Remember your creator before the silver cord is loosed or the Golden bowl is broken----- (Ecclesiastes 12:6)

The silver cord is severed or the golden bowl is broken are graphic word pictures and all point to death.  To stop here would be gloomy but Immediately he says;

"Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it." (Ecclessiastes 12:7)

" The dead do not praise the Lord. Nor any who go down into silence" (Psalm 115.17)

"But the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred and their envy have now perished, nevermore will they have any share in anything done under the sun...... for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going." (Ecclestiastes 9:5-10)

"His spirit departs, he returns to his earth: In that very day his plans perish. "(Psalm 146-4)

The above verses tell us that the dead do not know anything and all their plans shall perish at once. After death one does not have any chance to know His creator. If at all it has to be done it should be during the course of this life.

He also goes on and says;

"Let us here the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man.  For God will bring every work into judgement, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil.( Ecclesiastes" (12:13-14)

Another Book of the Bible says;

"And it is appointed for man to die once, but after this the judgement." ( Hebrews 9:27)

"And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake. some to everlasting life (Moksham), some to shame and everlasting contempt." (Daniel 12:2)

The entire message is this " To fear God means we must reverence him and put him first." To keep his commandments means obey Him whether we feel like it or not, because one day you are going to stand before Him according to the above verses. He will say I am ready. Are you?

Death to those who know their Creator God is not the end but the beginning.  But to those who do not know their creator God, death is a transition from emptiness to even greater emptiness.

So my Prayers to God are similar to Paul "That Every Human Being especially Indians like Israel", whatever rituals, relationships, respectability, race, religion, and reputation they are proud of may be brought to the knowledge of the one True and living God and be saved.

Thankfully, God saves men, women, and children from every tribe, tongue and nation. Amen.

The word of God says

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher" (Romans 10:14)

According to the above Word, an attempt has been made in every succeeding Posts to put forward the Truth about the One True God such that the reader is put to hearing the truth through words, believe in Him and call on Him and receive His saving Grace

The statements / expressions contained in the succeeding Posts are not only my understanding of the Biblical truths but also of that of some Holy saints of God, whose research and writings were taken for reference. Wherever necessitated reproduction of some parts of their works have been put together for the Glory of the Living God.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
